What is Pilates?
Pilates is a mind and body conditioning exercise programme that targets the deep postural muscles of the stomach and back to improve stability and posture
Revival Pilates follows a Physiotherapy-led form of Pilates developed by Physiotherapists at the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI)
It is supported by clinical evidence and research and modifies the original 34 Joseph Pilates exercises, making them safe and accessible for the general population
It has a therapeutic approach to optimising one’s posture, movement and function and is suitable for all ages and fitness levels and is particularly beneficial for those with back pain, poor posture, neurological conditions, sports injuries and after pregnancy or surgery
It also helps to develop a greater sense of health and wellbeing and enhances muscle tone

What Does Revival Pilates Offer?
Revival Pilates provides Pilates classes at four venues in the Chorley & Leyland areas with Chartered Physiotherapist and Australian Physiotherapy & Pilates Institute Certified Pilates Instructor Andrea Hibbert Bsc (Hons) MCSP
The classes are in small groups to offer personal and condition specific Pilates, tailored to your level and needs
Exercises are demonstrated on several levels and this means that everyone can work at their own level with the opportunity of individual guidance when needed and progression over time
